 This book is refreshing. In a world where we are often told “what” to do without the “how,” this is very practical and actionable advice. This is not a book you read; it’s a book you study, take notes on, and put what you’re learning into practice. I love the four cups analogy, and I love the clear distinction between a budget and a forecast, and why the forecast is so much more useful. This is something every business owner should read, especially if you feel the slightest bit unclear about your accounting and finances. 

 I really enjoyed this book. It’s easy to read and easy to understand, without ever talking down to readers who don’t have an accounting background. At the same time, it’s not oversimplified. As an accountant, I appreciated that. The examples are clear and relatable. Honestly, it was a fun read—yes, a fun accounting book! Highly recommended.
